What is involved?

Earning a BigFix certification provides the foundation for a position as a BigFix Operator or Engineer with advanced position available as BigFix Master Operators and Engineers.  These certifications are milestones in your journey to becoming a skilled BigFix solutions expert.

STEP 1 – TRACK

Identify the BigFix Certification Track that meets your immediate goals and career objectives.  Enroll in public courses if pursuing your certification on an individual basis or join private classes sponsored by your employer.

STEP 2 – EXAMS

Pass the required exams for the certification track you are pursuing. Be sure to review the course materials and labs that were offered in the classes you attended to adequately prepare for your exams.

STEP 3 – CERTIFICATION

Earn your BigFix Operator, Master Operator, Engineer, and Master Engineer certifications by taking and passing your exams at an approved testing facility.  When pursuing your Master Engineer certification, an AIS Principal level consultant will conduct your oral exam via an electronic meeting medium.

STEP 4 – CONTINUING EDUCATION

AIS will continue to develop and offer ongoing education opportunities including workshops, webinars, and course updates as new versions of BigFix become available.
